A federal lawsuit accuses Selena Gomez, her mother Mandy Teefey, and co-founder Daniella Pierson of securities fraud, alleging that investors poured $1.2 million into their mental health startup Wondermind based on promises of a groundbreaking app, celebrity cover stories, and major brand partnerships — none of which ever materialized — while "the company quietly collapsed around them" for three full years without a word to investors.

After nearly nine months at sea with no port visits, no firm return date, and combat conditions throughout, reports are emerging of sailors in crisis on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Retired Rear Admiral Nancy Lacore said it best: "Our sailors are tough and resilient, but their resilience shouldn't be taken for granted or used as an excuse to keep asking more of them without a clear end in sight."
The good news? Relief is reportedly on the way as the USS George Washington prepares to take over — but this is a powerful reminder that mental health support, rest, and certainty are not luxuries for our service members, they are necessities.

A newly unsealed neuropsychological evaluation reveals convicted killer Bryan Kohberger has eight mental health diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder (Level 1), OCD, ADHD, and the eating disorder ARFID, along with past conditions including severe depression, anorexia, and opioid use disorder connected to a teenage heroin addiction now in sustained remission.
Critically, the evaluation was not conducted to argue insanity or diminished capacity — Kohberger's defense team commissioned it to counter potential prosecution arguments about his mental health, and he did not claim any diagnosis affected his guilty plea. Millions of people share these diagnoses and live full, peaceful, law-abiding lives — mental illness does not cause violence, and we must be careful not to let this case fuel stigma against the autism, OCD, or ADHD communities.
